I was speaking with another PMP (Project Management Professional) today and we noticed that we are unusual in our workplace. We seem different. Maybe it’s just a perception. Maybe it’s a style of working. Maybe it’s that so many people look to us to get things done, to drive projects to done.
Or maybe the persistence, drive and study to pass the PMP exam changed us somehow? I am more outspoken now about “how to get projects done” – that is for sure. And people routinely tell me that I am adding value.
What do you think?

I’m curious. Is it experience, age, gender, training? Have you been able to profile your colleague and yourself?

Hi Robin,
It’s not gender! I don’t think it’s experience per say – because I remember years back being told that people give more projects to me because I get them done… What profile are you referring to disc? mbti? something else?
